| Requirements: | Gender - Female - Adult Minimum age 21. Requires a Forsyth County issued badge and background check (contact Faye for required form and info about badge) |
| Responsibilities: | Prepare short Bible study lesson. Lead discussion with female inmates. Read Bible verses and pray with inmates. |
| Comments: | Pod Teachers will meet with female inmates interested in a short Bible study discussion. Monthly objectives are to share the gospel, plant seeds, and invite the ladies to participate in weekly Bible studies offered Mon/Wed. It is intended that a Pod Ministry Teacher be accompanied by a Pod Ministry Encourager. Jail Ministry requires a non-judgmental attitude and love for hurting women. It takes courage but is completely safe. All volunteers are constantly monitored and never in contact with dangerous criminals. If not comfortable, you are able to leave at any time. |
